What do you require from us?

All we require from clients is an open space (classroom/lunchroom is fine) with either tables or desks for the students to work at. A space with a projector and projector screen is ideal, however we can accomodate if these cannot be provided.

Question 2

What is the maximum number of students per session?

Accepted Answer

All of our programs, with the exception of 'Healthy Hair, Healthy Bodies, can handle up to 30 students per session. Healthy Hair, Healthy Bodies can support up to 15 students per session.

Question 3

How long does setup and teardown for each program take?

Accepted Answer

Setup and teardown for all programs will take approximately 30 - 45 mins.

Question 4

Are the programs connected to the standard Ontario curriculum?

Accepted Answer

All of our programs are aligned to specific expectations from the standard Ontario Curriculum and have been designed by Ontario Certified Teachers with over 10 years of classroom experience and system level experience. Our programs were all developed organically based on the students we served each day in the classroom, and in different capacities, and are based on being culturally-relevant and responsive, with a focus on student interest.

Question 5

Do you provide educators with assessments/evaluations during the programs?

While our program facilitators do conduct their own assessments during each program, it is only to inform their practice on how to continue guiding each session. However, program facilitators will provide educators with different ways they can further the teachings from each program, and also different strategies they can use to conduct assessments and evaluations in their classrooms.

Question 6

Are these 'one off' workshops, or 'multi-session' programs?

All programs delivered by Madd Skillz Education can be offered as a ‘one-off Interest based workshop’, or a ‘full program’ that is based on integrating various subjects and aspects of the standard Ontario curriculum paired with our own skill based developed curriculum. ** Please note, full programs vary in length, but range from 4 - 6 continuum sessions, where each session builds upon the previous one.

How much does each workshop or program cost?

All pricing for programs and workshops delivered by Madd Skillz Education are based on individual school needs. While deciding what programs/workshops will work and run within the school, we factor in many things before landing on a price. Please contact us for more details surrounding this.
